Fourteen players scored for the Southeast Community College-Beatrice Lady Storm as as they defeated visiting Union College Thursday, 67-29.
“The Lady Storm came out strong and never looked back,” Southeast coach Vicki Wooton said. “A strong defensive game and very balanced scoring led to the win.”
Wooton said Southeast forced 24 turnovers and had 18 steals in the game.
The Lady Storm also had 25 assists as a team.
Hannah Smith led Southeast in scoring with 12 points, followed by Kellie Page with 11.
Abrielle Davis led the Lady Storm with six rebounds, while Brianna Stewart and LaShira Couvson had five assists each.
Next action for the Lady Storm is today (Tuesday) at Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln.
