Burglar charged in two church theft cases

Casey J. Dayduff, 27, 723 Ella St., has been charged with two counts of burglary.

Dayduff is accused of burglary at Christ Community Church on Nov. 11, 2008, in which computer equipment, checks and charge cards were stolen. He is also accused of a Dec. 1 break-in at the Church of the Nazarene in which computer equipment and money were stolen. 

In addition to the burglary charges, he is also facing charges for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, one count of theft by taking $500-$1,500 and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

His next court day is scheduled for Nov. 4.
