Steven L. “Dickie” Parrish, 42, of Tecumseh, died unexpectedly Friday, June 26, 2009, at Tecumseh.
He was born to Richard and Rita (Masur) Parrish at Tecumseh on May 11, 1967. He was the owner and manager of Westside Auto Supply and NAPA Auto Parts Store in Tecumseh and a member of the Tecumseh Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife, Audra of Tecumseh; son, Tyson and daughter, Tia of the home; parents, Richard and Rita Parrish of Tecumseh; brothers, Michael Parrish and wife Jackie of Tecumseh, Kevin Parrish and wife Brenda of Lincoln, Brian Parrish and wife Kiffin of Olathe, Kan.; grandmothers, Bernice Masur and Cathy Lott; parents-in-law, Terry and Lois Kage; and brother-in-law, Clint Kage, all of Tecumseh; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at the St. Andrew Catholic Church in Tecumseh, at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 1. Interment will be in the St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery, Tecumseh, Neb. Visitation will be at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, Tuesday, June 30, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church. Memorials may go to the family’s choice. Wherry Mortuary, Tecumseh, is in charge of arrangements.
