Two men have been arrested and the Pawnee County Sheriff’s Office has seized more than 30 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, firearms and a stolen pick-up truck within the last month.
Ronny Hazon, Jr., of Tecumseh was arrested on Oct. 12 on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of firearms during a drug violation, possession of U.S. currency during a drug violation, along with several other felony charges, according to the Pawnee County Sheriff’s Office.
Hazon was arrested during a traffic stop on Nebraska Highway 50. During the stop, the Pawnee County deputies, along with the Tecumseh K-9 Unit, located large quantities of methamphetamine packaged for distribution, two handguns and a large amount of cash.
Stephen Allen of St. Joseph, Mo., was arrested on Nov. 5 after the red and black pick-up he was driving east on Nebraska Highway 8 was stopped by deputies.
The pick-up truck was reported stolen from the St. Joseph area and during the stop, deputies, along with the Tecumseh K-9 Unit, located methamphetamine, opium, marijuana and cash.
Allen was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of stolen property, possession of methamphetamine, possession of opium and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
