The Daily Sun announced the hiring of a new reporter, Chris Dunker, effective Monday, Nov. 17.

A Beatrice native, Dunker recently graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University where he majored in English. He was a 2004 graduate of Beatrice High School.

Dunker recently moved back to Beatrice from Lincoln where he was living post-graduation.
