The Beatrice City Council is set to approve a union contract and salaries with the local International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) labor union Monday.
The city council is scheduled to meet at the Beatrice Public School administration building on Monday at 7 p.m.
The council agenda also includes the following items:
Insurance claim: Approve/deny referring suit of Jacoby Wilcox and Candice Blakemore to the city attorney and city insurance carrier.
Ambulance write-offs: Approve/deny to write off ambulance bad debts and send to Collection Associates.
911 ambulance: Approve/deny rejection of bids for a 911 ambulance and an inter-facility transfer ambulance.
Public hearing: A public hearing will be held on the acquisition of real estate located in the second addition to South Beatrice, lots 7-9, located at Eighth and Doane streets. A resolution has been submitted.
Second and Bell: Approve/deny resolution for the sale of real estate located in the Original Town, lots 4-6, located at Second and Bell streets, and adjacent vacated alley to Custom Fixtures, Inc.
Annexation: Set a public hearing date on the proposed annexation of property located in the southeast quarter of section 15 Township 4 north range 6 east, area located west of U.S. Highway 77 north of city limits.
