Marvin J. Drewes, 80, Beatrice, died Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008, at the Beatrice Manor. Born Dec. 4, 1927, at Fairbury. U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors: wife, Gerane; sons, Daryl Drewes of Plymouth, Warren Drewes of Fairview, Utah; daughter, Jayne Churchill of Lakewood, Colo.; grandchildren, Ashley Drewes of Wichita, Kan., Anthony Drewes of Lincoln; great-granddaughter; brother, Richard Drewes of Plymouth; sister, Marlene Malchow of Beatrice. Preceded in death by parents, Louis and Lena (Lucking) Drewes; brother, Raymond Drewes; infant sister, Laverna Drewes.
