Mark A. Jandera, 48, Manhattan, Kan., formerly of Hanover, died Monday, Aug. 4, 2008, at Hanover. Born Aug. 10, 1959, at Hanover. Employed with Scheilling Asphalt Construction, Manhattan.

Survivors: sons, Jason Jandera of Dallas, Texas, Joshua Jandera and Jacob Jandera, both of Lincoln, Neb.; daughters, Jessica Jandera of Lincoln, Neb., and Melissa Jandera of Manhattan, Kan.; sister, Connie Kos of Hanover. Preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Wilma (Overwald) Jandera; sister, Mary Jandera.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, St. John’s Catholic Church, Hanover. Burial: church cemetery. Visitation: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, Hanover Mortuary. Memorials to the church.
