Extending the two-hour parking limit in downtown Beatrice will be considered by the Beatrice City Council at its next meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at the Beatrice Public Schools Administration Building.
Kevin Kramer, who owns Hannah’s Treasures and Groceries 4 Less, made the request to extend the two-hour parking limit in downtown Beatrice from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. to 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
Kramer noted that he has had problems with residents who live downtown parking their vehicles at 3 p.m. and then leaving them the rest of the day. As a result, they take up parking spaces for potential customers.
