Still no leads in Ann Marie Kelley case

There are still no new clues or leads in connection with the disappearance of Ann Marie Kelley, a 36-year-old rural Filley woman who has been missing since April 15.

Gage County Attorney Randall Ritnour said Monday afternoon authorities have received no new information regarding Kelley’s disappearance, while searches at Gage County lakes last week proved unsuccessful in finding Kelley or the 1991 Plymouth Voyager minivan she was last seen driving.

Ritnour said officials are concerned that no one has reported hearing from Kelley or seeing her van since her disappearance. Thursday will mark the one-month anniversary of when she was last seen at about 8:25 a.m. April 15 at the SunMart supermarket in Beatrice.

Meanwhile, authorities are continuing to ask the public for any information surrounding Kelley’s disappearance. She is described as 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighing about 125-130 pounds, with auburn/red/brown hair.

Anyone with information should call the sheriff’s office at 402-223-5221 or Beatrice Crime Stoppers at 402-228-4343.

There are a LOT of questions that people have that the law enforcement just aren't answering in the media... All the questions above are very good questions, that I can't figure out why no one is talking about... There's evidently something fishy here, all the 'national' stories when people are missing--you know EVERYTHING about the investigation, you hear NOTHING from our law enforcement......

Amen to that. Everything is so secretive. The only word is they are searching lakes. What about the woods, creeks, and private ponds in her neighborhood?
Did she take her kids to school then drive out of town? People say Ann was a good mother and would not do that.
Did people at work say she was upset over anything?
Why isn't there more information. The more information, the more it might jar someone's memory of something that they saw or remember about it.
Perhaps the Sun should assign an investivgative reporter to do a story on Ann.

I know how the "investigations" go from our local law enforcement...I wonder how quickly they started looking for her after a report was made?? I have complete faith in our county attorney....not soo much in our law enforcement...i hope that it turns out she is ok and left on her own free will

Yes, we can hope that she is alive and well, and just took off on her own. However, no phone calls, no activity on her bank account, surely she would have taken some cash before she drove away, if she did indeed drive away. This is not a good sign. Even the county attorney said that it was not a good sign.
Did she take anything from her home? Clothes, personal belongings, photos, anything?
I am not convinced by the information seen so far in the media that no foul play is indicated as the sheriff stated.

Why hasn't Ann's family spoken out?

Where are they? They haven't spoke to the media or asked for any help.

If my spouse was missing or a family member - I would be camped out at the police station begging for answers!

Don't you think that the more we know the more the public could help?

Do they think she was taken by a stranger - should we be concerned that there is a crazy person out there kidnapping women?

Actually Tuesday, (yesterday) marks the 4 weeks. She was missing on the 15th, it just wasn't reported to the public until Thursday, the 17th

I agree, if it was someone in my family I would be on the radio, tv, newspaper and whatever else it would take to keep her face and name in front of the public.
FYI-To Tuesday

The 15th IS Thursday if my calender is correct...NOT Tuesday. In Fact-if you look to the right of the very story you commented on, you will see that THURSDAY marks the one month (rolling calender) anniversary of her disappearance.

May God be with Ann (where ever she may be) and the family.

Who saw her at the supermarket? Has this person been interviewed? How did Ann act? Wasn't there a security camera at the supermarket? Did she drop her kids at school? Did anyone at school see her? Has her disappearance been sent out nationwide? Too many details just not beeing told to the public.
fyi to FYI

The last time Ann was seen was Tuesday, April 15th. If you go by tuesday to tuesday, she has been missing 4 weeks. If you go by the calendar, then a month on Thursday.

I do not know Anne, but I do not see how any mother could up and leave her children. I think that if she was just going to leave she would've done it long ago. We are told that foul play is not suspected, but how many of those that are saying it really believe it. Do you know that 3 days before Anne went missing another woman disappeared without a trace 13 hrs from here? She was also a mother of four. Curly brown hair, green eyes, 125 lbs. Police were saying that she was just "missing". That is until a couple of days ago when her body was discovered. I'm not buying it that Anne just up and walked away. People said that she was a good mom.

Correction to my last post. The other missing woman had blue eyes.

Are there any new updates? Just wanted to let the family know that we're all praying for Ann's safe return. Is there anything we can do to help?
