Lunch with governor, elected officials is Friday

The public is invited to have lunch with Gov. Dave Heineman, state Sen. Norm Wallman and other local elected officials at the Legislative Luncheon on Friday, May 16, at Valentino’s.

The Beatrice Area Chamber of Commerce’s Government Affairs Committee is hosting the luncheon to provide elected officials and representatives an opportunity to provide updates on the current political status of Beatrice, Gage County and Nebraska.

Attending representatives include Heineman, Wallman, County Supervisor Allen Grell, Mayor Dennis Schuster, City Council Chair Al Fetty, City Administrator Neal Niedfeldt and School Board Representative Dave Niedfeldt.

The public is invited to attend this luncheon to hear updates and to participate in a question and answer session. Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased at the Chamber of Commerce.
