I worked at KWBE radio station in the summer of 1962(delivering the KWEEBEE news sheet) and Buddy was an announcer there along with K.R.Knowles. I liked to hear Buddy give the world weather and temperatures very early in the morning. When he gave the weather for a city like Rome or Rio he would name a famous building and say it was raining on the steps of it and then give the temperature. It sounded to the listener like you were really there. And just for a little bit I was a world traveler. I remember the first time I landed in Rio, I thought to myself, now this is what Buddy was talking about! He was also a excellent photographer and artist(painting on velvet). I will always remember Buddy for helping interest me in traveling! My condolences to his children. Steve Johnson
