Costs for scaffolding and a timeline for a possible bid and work schedule for courthouse roof work highlighted discussion at Wednesday's regular Gage County Board of Supervisors meeting.

Gage County voters will deciding on a $2.8 million bond issue for courthouse renovations as part of next Tuesday's primary election.

In response to comments questioning the county's $60,000 estimate for scaffolding, Supervisor Ron Fleecs said that figure was derived from Travelers Insurance Co.'s estimate in December based on the total cost for roof repairs. The exact amount fo the estimate was $63,123.27.

The County Board, Fleecs said, has now adjusted that estimate to $67,000 to account for inflation.
