Chamber to host legislative luncheon on Friday, May 16

The Beatrice Area Chamber of Commerce’s Government Affairs Committee is hosting a Legislative Luncheon at noon Friday, May 16, at Valentino’s.

Elected officials and representatives will be in attendance to provide an update on the current political status of Beatrice, Gage County and Nebraska. Attending representatives include Gov. Dave Heineman, State Sen. Norm Wallman, Gage County Supervisor Rex Adams, Beatrice Mayor Dennis Schuster, City Councilman Al Fetty, City Administrator Neal Niedfeldt and Beatrice School Board Representative Dave Niedfeldt.

The public is invited to this luncheon to hear updates and to participate in a question and answer session. Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased at the Chamber of Commerce office.
