Bond set for man facing charges of sexual assault

Bond has been set for a 34-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting two young girls from 2005 to 2007, according to Gage County Court records.

Appearance bond was set at $300,000, with $30,000 deposit, and $60,000 bail bond was set for Lamont Hornbeak, no address available, who appeared in Gage County Court last week on suspicion of two counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child for alleged sexual assault of an 8-year-old and a 10-year-old girl in Beatrice.

His next court appearance was scheduled for 9 a.m. May 23.
