Nows thats funny in a way. Why you ask, well other depts, at BSDC have been told this is for LU staff employees only but have been asked to serve food and do little stunts for the show. Also it seems I was very correct about those staff that were brought in to work. They are on the units and not trained. They are not allowed to do hardly anything but can ... pick up clothes and be around the clients ..... if there is a regular staff there!! Thats what I mean about better leadership. I thought they would of found a little better way of working together and also thought they would come up with a way for these staff brought in to be able to be productive. I see where the numbers on paper looks good but what again about the poor LU staff that are working there butts off! I also think that the job fair they have should include the other depts as well. I see where they come up with so many hard feelings between depts and they (the admin.) are the ones that create them!

WHY are they having a Job Fair on TUESDAY during the day from 1-4??? First of all, it's already Tuesday, the paper doesn't come out until like 2-4pm....

If I wanted to change jobs, I couldn't go to this Job Fair--cuz 1--it's held during the DAY... and 2--it's TODAY... how much sense does that make?????

As you can see they are at least trying something. If it dont work try try again. A little better planning on the part of the State Home Human Resources. I guess none of them have ever planned a job fair. They will have to plan another for next week so a few more can attend the job fair. Oh by the way the reseason that they put others in the mix helps with the cost dont forget the cost. Good luck Nebraska State Home of Beatrice. From a Californian

The headline was actually incorrect -- it wasn't a JOB fair, it was a community fair as the first line of the article reads. The "job" part was a mistake by the Daily Sun. The fair was meant to give BSDC residents and staff a chance to see what community resources are out there, give them a chance for a little "break" from their routine, and show them that the community supports them.

I thought the main concern was getting things back to where they should be so they can contine to operate. Now isnt it a little much that they cant figure out how to pass a federal audit but can still have time to plan for this. The whole thing is crazy out there. Priorities don't seem to be happening. With the bad news and all the things that have been going out there i doubt if the job fair will not pull in to many new employees, the reputation is just not that great as and employer anymore
