A Beatrice man was arrested on suspicion of first-degree false imprisonment and third-degree assault regarding an incident late Saturday evening at his residence.

Miguel Pacheco, 35, of 11466 W. Lilac Road, was arrested at approximately 8 p.m. Sunday at his residence following a report by a woman who claims Pacheco attacked her.

Information from the Gage County Sheriff’s Office indicates the woman drove Pacheco to his residence at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday, at which time he allegedly started making sexual advances towards her.

When she refused, Pacheco allegedly pushed the woman to the floor and held her down, striking her in the face. As a result, the woman received two black eyes and two holes on the inside of her bottom lip where her teeth had cut her.

Pacheco was located at approximately 8 p.m. Sunday evening and was arrested. Further investigation revealed Pacheco is allegedly in the United States illegally.
