NEBRASKA CITY - James Rivers took two Nebraska City pitches over the fence for the Beatrice Eagles Juniors Sunday as they defeated their hosts 14-0 in five innings.
Rivers led the Beatrice offense with two home runs and five RBI.
Also hitting for Beatrice were Garrett Bruhn with a double and Justin Coleman, Justin Wittler, Sam Busboom, A.J. Jarvis and Devin Schroeder with a single each.
Beatrice scored five runs in the first inning, two in the second, four in the third, one in the fourth and two in the fifth to earn the run-rule win.
Wittler threw the complete game for the local Juniors. He allowed one hit, walked two, hit one batter and struck out nine.
