Titans win title at Tecumseh Invitational

TECUMSEH - Three golfers medaled for the Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer Titans as the team won the Tecumseh Invitational Thursday at the Tecumseh Country Club.

Titan Derek Vrtiska was runner-up at the meet, shooting a 76.

Colton Pinney of Nebraska City was medalist, firing a two-over par 74.

Other medalists for HTRS were Cale Kimbrough, who was fourth with a 78, and Wes Schaardt, who was fifth with an 80.

In the final team standings, the Titans outpaced runner-up Nebraska City, 318 to 322.

Lewiston's Tony Bursovsky and Tanner Bowhay medaled, finishing seventh and ninth, respectively, with an 82 and an 83.

As a team, Lewiston finished fourth with a 352 and Tecumseh tied for sixth with a 380.
