A 27-year-old Plymouth man has pleaded not guilty in Gage County District Court to a charge of aiding and abetting burglary in connection with a burglary in August at Watts Auto Salvage, 2784 E. Sage Road, near Wymore.
Shawn D. Kyker entered the plea this week to the Class III felony charge. A Class III felony carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in jail or a $20,000 fine or both.
A pretrial conference for Kyker was scheduled for 12:45 p.m. April 2.
According to a report from Gage County Sheriff's Deputy Larry Kendall, Kyker was arrested after a burglary at the auto salvage business, where items including a motor, four tires, a battery charger, an oxygen bottle, an electric winch and several tools were reported missing on Aug. 8.
